Green Passport Day
The reason for this event is that there is a green route that goes all the way from Roseburn to Leith. (Map). The route is a former railway line that is now tarmaced. Some people know about it – others don’t. We want to promote it by encouraging people to discover and enjoy it. Publicity will go out through schools.
Participants will be given fun passports and there will be four checkpoints along the way, (and one at Victoria Park), where people can get these stamped to show they have covered the route. Refreshments will be available at the check points and/or we will highlight local facilities where appropriate.
There will also be some family games at Victoria Park (12-3) Why not bring a picnic. Stalls will be stamping passports between11-2 – start and finish where you like.
